Chariton Valley Wireless and Verizon Communications Inc. have entered into an agreement that will allow Verizon to acquire the wireless network assets of Chariton Valley’s LTE in Rural America (LRA) wireless network serving Northeastern Missouri. The acquisition of assets is subject to FCC approval and is expected to close in early 2022.
This transaction does not affect Chariton Valley’s residential or business customers who currently receive traditional Voice, Internet and Video services from Chariton Valley.
Chariton Valley wireless customers do not need to take any action at this time. Customers will receive information regarding the acquisition and their wireless service as more information becomes available.
