Although fiber internet is both extremely fast and loaded with bandwidth capacity, you still need to effectively disperse the internet signal through your home.
Some service providers deploy subpar routers (or none at all) that lack the updated technology needed to keep up with fiber’s power. Wi-Fi 6 is the most recently engineered Wi-Fi technology. Strategic Router Placement
Even with a Wi-Fi 6 router, you still need good router placement.
To avoid interference of the Wi-Fi signal, avoid placing your router near objects, including but not limited to walls, cabinets, and other electronic equipment. Also raise the height of the router’s position so that it can transmit a stronger signal.
