Electronic Voting

Electronic Voting – In Person Attendance Will Not Be Allowed

Electronic voting allows 100% of members an opportunity to vote from the convenience of their own homes without having to travel. Members will have the opportunity to cast their votes during a two week period leading up to and including the day of the Annual Business Meeting, September 23 through October 7, 2021 at 4 pm. Since members can vote any time during the two week period, as opposed to a short three hour window, it furthers the opportunity for every member to be a part of the election process. Due to COVID precautions this years meeting will be online only. In person attendance will not be allowed.  Visit our Facebook page on October 7 at 4 pm for live streaming of the Annual Business Meeting. For our members we encourage you to take advantage of the added convenience of electronic voting.

How Electronic Voting Works

Members will receive either an email or a letter from our election service provider, Survey & Ballot Systems, with necessary information and instructions to vote electronically. Prior to the Annual Business Meeting, board candidate information, financial reports and minutes from the previous meeting will be available online and on the voting site.

What To Do If You Don’t Have Internet Access

If you do not have access to the internet, voting stations will be available at any Chariton Valley office (Salisbury, Brookfield, Macon and Moberly) during normal office hours throughout the two week voting period. We will also have internet access available at the Hale Supply & Variety store (213 Main Street – Hale) and at Bucklin City Hall (606 Oak Street – Bucklin) during their normal business hours.

Voting period closes at 4pm sharp, Thursday October 7th.
