The National Do Not Call Registry was established to address unwanted telemarketing calls. The registry applies to all telemarketers, with exceptions for businesses with which you have an existing relationship, as well as certain nonprofit and political organizations. Commercial telemarketers are not allowed to call you if your number is listed on the registry.
Consumers may register residential and wireless telephone numbers on the National Do Not Call Registry at no cost online at donotcall.gov or by telephone at 1.888.382.1222 (TTY: 1.866.290.4236). You must call from the telephone number you wish to register.
Your registration becomes effective within 31 days and remains on the registry permanently. You may remove your number at any time.

Enrollment in the Missouri No-Call list prevents calls to your registered phone number from about 200 major telemarketing companies.
Only residential phone numbers and personal cell phone numbers belonging to private individuals are eligible under Missouri’s No-Call law. Business phone numbers and fax lines are excluded.
Registered phone numbers are provided to telemarketers by the Attorney General’s Office on a quarterly basis. The next distribution date is October 1, 2026.
