PROFILE:
Rob Rice has lived in the Chariton Valley service area his entire life. He is married to Catherine Rice, and they have one son, one daughter and seven grandchildren. Rob is a farmer and retired paramedic. He is a member of the Salisbury First Baptist Church where he serves as a deacon. Rob is a medical first responder in Randolph County. He is a member of the Huntsville Rotary Club, The Gideons International, and Missouri Corn Growers Association. Rob is also a volunteer of the Salisbury Chapter of Missouri Right to Life.
Message to the Members:
Chariton Valley is a vital part of our communities and an important part of the lifestyles we enjoy. Not only does Chariton Valley provide valuable services including fiber to the home while continuing to expand services, but Chariton Valley is also a key employer in our area. Chariton Valley has been a leader in the telecommunications industry, and I would like to be a small part of continuing that legacy. I have greatly enjoyed serving as a board member the past six years, and I would appreciate your support in seeking a third term to continue serving our shareholders, customers and employees.

James (Gabe) Jacoby

PROFILE:
Gabe has lived in the Chariton Valley service area for the past 47 years. He is married to Nicole Jacoby, and they have three children. He is the operating owner of Jacoby Contracting LLC and the operating manager for Harvest Moon Sporting Club. Having spent 16 years as part of Chariton Valley’s construction crew and an additional three years as the Construction and Engineering Supervisor, Gabe was instrumental in the placement of copper and fiber and became knowledgeable about all areas of Chariton Valley operations. Active in his community, Gabe and his family enjoy participating in youth sports and supporting the Westran School District.
Message to the Members:
I have so much passion for Chariton Valley, and I want to see it continually advance to remain the best possible telecommunications provider. As a former employee and a lifetime Chariton Valley member, I have seen the dedication and hard work it takes to run and maintain services for all members. If I am elected, I promise to represent each and every one of you to the best of my ability along with the current and future employees.

Jean Miller

PROFILE:
A resident of the Chariton Valley service area for 25 years, Jeannie has been married to Frank Miller for 24 years, and they have four children and 12 grandchildren with one due in December. She has owned a business for 15 years and during that time, has come to understand the importance of providing customer service within a balanced budget. Jeannie is currently working in food service in the Westran School District. She participates in a number of local organizations, serving on the board of directors of Community Day Care Center and as a member of What Country Folk Do Benefit Committee, the secretary/treasurer of Huntsville Sporting Activities, and the treasurer at Clifton Hill Baptist Church where she and Frank are members.
Message to the Members:
If elected, I will give 110% of my effort, focus on tasks set before me and strive to work as an effective director. The idea of bringing my business perspective to help the board achieve success and benefit customers is a challenge I welcome.

Lance Winkler

PROFILE:
Lance Winkler has lived in the Chariton Valley service area for 40 years. He is married to Jill Winkler, and they have two girls, Briar and Bristol. Lance is a product engineer at Orscheln Products where he has overseen many large-scale projects in which he has maintained budgets and ensured the team reached the end goals, on time and within budget. He is a member of the St. Pius X Church in Moberly and serves as president of St. Pius X School’s Advisory Board.
Message to the Members:
I have been a member of our community my entire life and want to give back and ensure that my kids and our entire communities have the technologies that they need to remain competitive in today’s world. Reliable telecommunications is essential for our rural communities. I feel like my project management experiences will benefit the board as they navigate future projects to remain at the leading edge of the telecommunications industry.
