PROFILE:
Robert (Bob) Maddox has lived in the Chariton Valley service area for over 49 years. He is married to Linda Houghton Maddox and has two sons and eight grandchildren. He retired from ConAgra where he worked in Human Resources for 30 years. Bob currently serves as mayor of New Cambria and serves on his local church board. He is very active in the American Legion where serves on several committees and participates in many local events.
Message to the Members:
It has been an honor and privilege to serve as your director for the last nine years. The board has made some great strides in moving Chariton Valley forward in securing a solid business for its employees and customers. We are a nationally recognized and respected company in the industry and a leader in offering broadband in rural Missouri, something we all should be proud of. I would like to continue to serve as your representative for the Northwest Area. I would greatly appreciate your vote.

Julie Byers

Julie Byers has lived in the Chariton Valley service area for the past 23 years. She is married to David Byers, and they have two children, Hannah and Jacob. Having spent many years working as an independent contractor for the North Central Missouri Regional Water Commission, Julie currently works as an eligibility representative for Cigna Group. She serves her community on various boards and thrives on working to better this region and its citizens. Her community involvement includes serving as a board member at the Bucklin R-2 School and vice president of the Linn County Republican Women’s Chapter. She has also served on the Linn County Extension Council, as a member and secretary of the Linn County Fair Board, and a board member of the North Salem Township.
Message to the Members:
I would appreciate your vote for board member. I would work hard to promote and protect the reputation of Chariton Valley and assist in resolving any issues the company and customers face with fairness and respect. I believe my skills will assist Chariton Valley in navigating this ever-changing digital landscape and future legislation. My grandparents, Kenneth and Ruth Bailey, were early members of Chariton Valley, and I would like to continue their legacy of service to the organization.

Rick Standley

PROFILE:
Rick retired from Chariton Valley after 36 years with the company, working 20 years as an installation technician and 16 years as a supervisor. During that time, he worked on and supervised many projects, gained extensive knowledge through job experience and training, and played a vital role in Chariton Valley’s fiber deployment.
Rick is married to Tammy Standley, and they have three children and two grandchildren. He has served on the Bucklin City Council, as vice president of the Bucklin School Board and as board chairman of the Trustees and Administrative Council for his church, and he is currently serving on the board for Sunrise Vista Apartments.
Message to the Members:
I have built many good relationships with both customers and employees during my years at Chariton ValIey. Helping our customers and providing the best service possible has always been a priority for me. I would appreciate the opportunity to help ensure Chariton Valley is a great place to work while providing the very best in customer service and remaining a leader in the industry.
