PRINCETON, MO – June 27, 2024 – Chariton Valley, along with several other Missouri broadband providers, hosted a Fiber Field Day Thursday, June 27th, at the headquarters of GRM Networks in Princeton, Missouri.

This exclusive opportunity delivered a unique experience for policymakers, industry partners and community stakeholders to learn all about fiber broadband, from constructing the infrastructure to the many opportunities created through fiber connectivity. Attendees got to see firsthand how Smart Rural Community℠ (SRC)* providers are deploying fiber broadband to help Missouri reach its goal of Connecting All Missourians!

“Fiber Field Day provided an invaluable opportunity for lawmakers and policymakers involved in broadband grant development to witness up close the power of fiber broadband in unserved and underserved Missouri communities,” stated Ryan Johnson, Chariton Valley President and CEO.  “The event not only provided attendees with insight into providers’ deployment processes but also highlighted the benefits communities receive from broadband, such as improved healthcare access and economic growth. It truly transforms the way we live, work and interact,” he concluded.
