PROFILE:
Rob Rice has lived in the Chariton Valley service area his entire life. He is married to Catherine Rice, and they have one son, one daughter and seven grandchildren. Rob is a farmer and retired paramedic. He is a member of the Salisbury First Baptist Church where he serves as a deacon. Rob is a medical first responder in Randolph County. He is a member of the Huntsville Rotary Club, The Gideons International, and Missouri Corn Growers Association. Rob is also a volunteer of the Salisbury Chapter of Missouri Right to Life.
Message to the Members:
Chariton Valley is a vital part of our communities and an important part of the lifestyles we enjoy. Not only does Chariton Valley provide valuable services including fiber to the home while continuing to expand services, but Chariton Valley is also a key employer in our area. Chariton Valley has been a leader in the telecommunications industry, and I would like to be a small part of continuing that legacy. I have greatly enjoyed serving as a board member the past six years, and I would appreciate your support in seeking a third term to continue serving our shareholders, customers and employees.
Mike Nagel

PROFILE:
Mr. Mike Nagel has lived in the Chariton Valley service area for thirty-one years. He has been married to his wife Sheila for the last thirty three years. They have three kids, Brock (30), Ashley (27), and Caleb (24). Mike was the school principal for fifteen years at Westran High School. He then was superintendent of Westran RI School for four years. During those nineteen years, he held leadership positions at the regional and state level in Missouri Association of Secondary School Principals (MOASSP) state board. He was voted by the principals of Missouri to be President of MOASSP and represented Missouri principals at the state and national level. Mike is a member of St. Pius X Church in Moberly and a member of Knights of Columbus. He retired from public school education after thirty years of service and now works at St. Pius X school in Moberly teaching physical education. He has been involved in Huntsville Rotary for four years and spent a brief time on the advisory board for St. Joseph School in Salisbury. Along with his involvement in MOASSP, he has also been involved with Missouri Association of School Administrators.
Message to the members:
My vision for Chariton Valley is to continue their excellence in providing state-of-the-art communications for businesses, schools, and residents inside Chariton Valley’s boundaries. I thought that serving on the board of directors would be a great way to give back to the cooperative that has done many things for my own residence and school district that I have worked for.
