PROFILE:
Rick retired from Chariton Valley after 36 years with the company, working 20 years as an installation technician and 16 years as a supervisor. During that time, he worked on and supervised many projects, gained extensive knowledge through job experience and training, and played a vital role in Chariton Valley’s fiber deployment.
Rick is married to Tammy Standley, and they have three children and three grandchildren. He has served on the Bucklin City Council, as vice president of the Bucklin School Board and as board chairman of the Trustees and Administrative Council for his church, and he is currently serving on the board for Sunrise Vista Apartments. Rick currently sits on the Policy and Finance Committee for Chariton Valley and serves on the Chariton Valley Communications Board of Directors.
Message to the members:
Throughout my years at Chariton Valley, I have built many strong relationships with both customers and employees. Delivering the best possible service to our customers has always been a priority for me. If re-elected, I will work to ensure that Chariton Valley continues to provide the best customer service, is a great place to work, and remains a leader in the telecommunications industry.
Ben Bell

PROFILE:
Mr. Ben Bell has lived in the Chariton Valley service area for twenty-three years. Ben and his wife Kacy have four daughters. He is currently a Vice President for Regional Missouri Bank and a rural farmer both of which require him to be able to review past income and expense reports and transition that information into future projects and plans. He has previously held the position of alderman for the City of Bucklin and currently serves on the Marceline-Bucklin Enhanced Enterprise Zone Board. Ben volunteers for the Macon County R-4 FFA chapter and serves as a member of the FFA Alumni Association.
Message to the members:
As a rural farmer I have spent a lifetime growing a business on a budget. I feel that Chariton Valley has been doing the same thing since its inception. I live and work in the area where I rely on the services that Chariton Valley provides. I am excited to hear about the planned growth of the service area and would like to see that level of growth continue.
