Awesome Artist is a program to incorporate drawings from area 3rd graders in the Chariton Valley Directory Yellow Pages. This program not only highlights the creativity of young local artists but also engages the community by displaying their work in a widely circulated publication.
Congratulations to Philomena Yallaly of Macon Co R-4 Elementary, the winner of the Awesome Artist program for Best Design. Philomena is pictured with her parents Quintin and Michelle Yallaly, and Rebecca Brockman of Chariton Valley who presented her with a trophy and $25 cash. Israella Smith of Atlanta C-3 School won the $25 participation prize.
Chariton Valley appreciates the talent and creativity demonstrated by all participating 3rd graders from schools across our cooperative area. The 2025 Telephone Directory is scheduled to arrive mid-February. Check out the Yellow Page section to admire these stunning pieces.
