Military Room

A wonderful tribute to the Veterans of Chariton County from the Mexican War of 1846- 1848 through Desert Storm in 1990/1991 is waiting to be discovered. Names of those who served their country are remembered with plaques, pictures and memorabilia. Uniforms from the Army Air Corp, Army, Navy and Marines are on display. Memorabilia collected from the Civil War, the Germans, Japanese and North Vietnamese can be seen. Learn about some of their military experiences by reading their histories.
