We have the fiber optic to the house with network cable (ethernet) from there
to the computer. When hooking the cable directly into the ethernet port on the laptop the network shows local and internet connection available. But when the network cable is hooked to a router and the jumper cable is hooked to the laptop
the network shows local connection available.

The router is being detected (wireless) by all computers in the house but local only is available. When each computer is connected directly I have local and internet.

It seems that therefore I have internet available into the house and output from the router, but the network is not going through the router. I have tried 3 different routers but have the same problem.
