Kelvin lives in Clifton Hill. He is married to Carol and they have five children. Kelvin has lived in the Chariton Valley service area for over 50 years and is a full-time row-crop farmer. He is a former committeeman of the Randolph County Farm Service Agency. Kelvin is involved with the Huntsville Lions Club, Randolph County Cattleman's Association and is a member of the Huntsville United Methodist Church.
